Pure Harvest is an agri-tech start-up based here in the UAE. We develop tech-enabled, controlled environment farms to grow and sell delicious plants in the local markets where we operate. We supply a range of elite restaurants & hotels and supermarkets, and our products are selling out across the UAE. Our brand is associated with delicious produce, and we are quickly building a loyal and vocal customer base. We are now expanding into new crops (strawberries and leafy greens) and new geographies (Saudi Arabia, Kuwait). Purpose

Pure Harvest Smart Farms is looking to hire an Analyst / Associate to join their Strategic Finance team.
As part of the Strategic Finance team, the candidate will have the opportunity to shape the future of the Company by contributing towards diverse work streams such as financial planning, project finance, fund raising and investor relations. Fundamental responsibilities

• Create operating financial models (in Excel), based on a comprehensive understanding of the business
• Build integrated financial models for internal & external use and functions
• Conduct financial feasibility studies to support decision-making on various investment alternatives
• Conduct cost-benefit analysis to address unique business questions (buy or lease etc.)
• Conduct pricing analysis and costing analysis to improve product profitability
• Drive business decisions by turning financial data into financial information, including rigorous financial analysis,financial planning & analytics (FP&A), and careful presentation
• Drive improvement of financials by working closely with the Manager of Strategic Finance to build a financial strategy and drive it across the organisation
• Adhere to the financial planning calendar and conduct thoughtful analysis of deviations from the annual business plan, as directed by the Manager of Strategic Finance
• Regularly communicate analysis, models, and decisions internally and externally

• Mastery of the principles and uses of accounting & financial information
• Complex financial modelling experience, ability and enjoyment
• Ability to solve complex problems using critical analytical thinking, financial modelling skills, and pragmatism (often with limited data)
• Impeccable attention to detail
• Ability to communicate complex financial analysis and concepts internally and externally clearly and professionally via memos/emails, PowerPoint and verbally
• A drive to build systems and processes
• Highly organised, and able to turn around analysis in balanced quality vs time to enable decision making
• Ability to prioritize work, clearly communicating across organizational levels to manage timelines, expectations and deliverables. Humble character and team player that can work with a diverse organisation both internally
